My debit/credit card is being declined. Why is this happening?
Our processing system verifies credit card information based off of the card number, expiration date, CVV code, and the billing address. If any one of those are input wrong, then you will see a decline error on our site for your attempted purchase.
They will each give you different information and here is what they will say.
If your Credit Card number is wrong, you will see - The marked fields are empty or have an invalid format. That error will be on the credit card page and will highlight the credit card number as well.
If either the expiration date or the CVV code is incorrect, you will see - Order declined. Review your data or contact the store administrator. Reason: (Authorization with the card issuer was successful but the transaction was declined due to a card code mismatch with the card code on file with the card issuing bank based on the settings in the Merchant Interface.) You can click the Go Back button which will take you back to the original checkout page to review your data, fix anything, and attempt the purchase again.
If the billing address you supplied is not the one attached to your credit card, you will see: Order declined. Review your data or contact the store administrator. Reason: (Authorization with the card issuer was successful but the transaction was declined due to an address or ZIP code mismatch with the address on file with the card issuing bank based on the settings in the Merchant Interface.) You can click the Go Back button which will take you back to the original checkout page to review your data, fix anything, and attempt the purchase again.
What types of payment do you accept?
Budget Golf accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) as well as PayPal for the payment of your order.
